Climbing Adventures

Since we've moved out to San Diego Josh and I have gotten into indoor rock climbing.  We can thank Josh's brother Ralph for introducing us to one of our new favorite activities. It's such a rush when you are able to climb up to the very top and look down to see how high you've gotten. Surprisingly enough I have actually become pretty good (ha maybe just on the easier courses) at it! Not only is it fun but it's a great bonding experience for us and our friends; everyone wants to see you get to the top or finish the harder climbing route.

So lucky to have found such a fun and exciting new activity that we all can enjoy together. Next time we are going to climb in the great outdoors!  

Cabrillo Tide Pools

This past Sunday (I know I'm a few days late!) Josh and I, along with our friends the Ramos's decided to explore some of San Diego's wildlife and check out the Cabrillo tide pools. It was amazing to see the beautiful views of the beach from on top of the cliffs, and once we got down into the tide pools the marine life was almost too much for me to handle.  I have a serious love for marine life, just ask Josh. I was like a kid in a candy store, which is kind of funny because I'm terrified of actually swimming in the ocean!


It was the first time we've done something "adventurous" in a while, and needless to say we had a wonderful time. To make the entire experience even better our friend Ashley has a marine biology degree, so we had all of the insider information on all of the creatures!

Welcome To Our Home

This is us, just a bunch of goof balls

Hi, my name is Chelsea I'm a nurse living in sunny San Diego with my love Josh, who is an officer in the Navy. This is the on-going story of our life as it happens!

This is our home! Welcome, come on in for a little tour!

 This is our living room and in the back you will see our kitchen. We have pretty much exhausted every inch of space in our little apartment as you can see!

My second favorite thing in the room, my dresser. I had a near break down about not having a dresser when I first moved out to San Diego. Josh came to the rescues as always and got me this as a little present. He really is too great!

Never did I ever imagine myself living literally 3 blocks from the beach!  This is a lovely shot of the pier taken while laying out one afternoon.
